Highly recommend to Cisco CCNA prep courses! Relaxed and friendly staff, nice campus and centrally located campus.
I had a bad experience dealing with admission, the man wearing glasses who always wore a beanie was very rude. Unforgettable experience
It's a very small school
And the politics at this place or even smaller
It's one of the very few colleges on a hill and there's five levels of parking
I used to hear that the poor students have to walk up
And when you have find certain advisors and mentors you definitely have to keep in touch with
And also there's a lot of different teachers. Feel like they're omnipotent
And the politics are really really rife
There's a little gym that you can go and work out but it's very very little and most of the equipment are substandard
Math in humanities are really really close to one another
Tutoring is a definitely a must and one of the best things is their cafeteria
You can Have anything made for you as well as they have a small little Starbucks
If you're walking up and down campus that's enough exercise that you'll need
It's also a small little child care and you can have your children checked in there
And some of my best experiences have been with helping and tutoring
Be careful of The personalities here
Rio Hondo has evolved so much since i first started taking classes in 2006. One of the things that hasn't changed is the attention and support that the staff give the students. Many new buildings like the library have been reconstructed and updated to accommodate the return of all the students back to campus after enduring the pandemic. Alos a good place to hike. you can take the far side entrance by the police academy and continue on up the side road all the way to the top. its pretty challenging but the views are great. Im currently taking a ceramics class, and its quite enjoyable and you get to take home all your completed work.
Great campus with helpful Staff and Teachers! All Covid procedures in effect too! Hilltop views from Many places on campus. Lotz of online classes too.
Honestly this school is amazing, I just finished my 2 years and I had a good time. I got done what I was supposed to and I am moving on to CSULB. The school is somewhat big or okay size. From what I heard the upper level math class have teachers with accents difficult to understand. This school has 2 years free and EOP&s which turned out that I didn't pay for anything. All i know is my experience was a good one and they honestly do care about the students.
As a young man going to college for the for the first time, this was a great experience for me. I thought I would hate college, since I hated going to school my entire life, but wow this college is awesome. The school is really small. You will learn how to get around with ease. The campus is also on a hill, and surrounded by lovely nature, trees and animals of
All sorts. Which I personally love. The tutoring system is amazing and I’m completely satisfied. I really abuse the math and English tutors everyday! The library is beautiful (my favorite place). The food though could use improvements though, but that’s about it. 99% of people are very friendly so it’s a great environment for me personally. I never thought I would love going to school until now thank god wow! I will never transfer to another college I love this place and I can wait to start school again.
P.s if your taking English classes I recommend taking Mr Callinan best English professor hands down. He changed my life and made me love going to school. Cheers! -Allan Mora
Beware counselors and admissions will give you conflicting information. They want you to keep enrolling and paying money
